Welcome to our homestead!

Our homestead consists of my husband and me, our 5 dogs, 14 chickens, 2 baby bulls, and the various wildlife on our property. Our 2 adult sons help us along the way and will inherit everything. We have 2 daughters with their own families that visit us regularly. That means 7 grandkids running around.

We are just past 1 year on this homestead and this is the first year installing animals. So, more livestock is on the way.

Join us in our adventures of homesteading late in life as there will be plenty of trial and error, experiments, and funny memories to tell.

We believe very much in the power of nature and land to heal and ground our bodies and minds, making us happier people. We are the happiest we’ve ever been and never want to leave home now.

We are making our home our sanctuary!
